Mr. Sanjeev Mansotra is the Chairman of Planet One Group, a diversified global enterprise with a presence in 16 countries across sectors including Education, Natural Resources, Renewable Energy, Agriculture, and Wellness. Known for his innovation, strategic foresight, and commitment to sustainable growth, Mr. Mansotra has been at the forefront of the group's evolution to become the partner of choice for Governments across the globe.
Mr. Mansotra began Planet One’s journey as an IT solutions provider for the education sector. Today, Planet One Education is recognized as one of the world’s largest integrated education companies, delivering end-to-end solutions across K-12, higher education, and skill development, with successful projects implemented in the USA, UK, Middle East, India, and Africa. Under his leadership, the Group has forged partnerships with globally renowned institutions, as well as long-term collaborations with government bodies worldwide.
Expanding beyond education, Mr. Mansotra has spearheaded the group's foray into the Mining and Oil & Gas sector. The group today operates various mining projects across Africa focusing on bulk minerals, critical minerals and rare earths. The group also operates and has significant investments in the oil & gas sector with projects across on-shore and off-shore. He has personally led the formation of strategic joint ventures with several state-owned enterprises in the mining and the oil & gas sector.
It is Mr. Mansotra's firm belief that affordable, clean and stable electricity is imperative in the development of emerging economies. In line with the group's guiding ethos "From Imagination to Impact", under the Chairman's leadership, our projects in renewable energy and rural electrification have transformed several communities across Africa. It is his constant endeavor to invest in projects that foster sustainable socio-economic growth.
His passion for fitness and wellness resulted in the conception of Sohum Wellness in 2007. Today it has grown into a wellness chain with over 30 luxury wellness destinations across Asia and Europe. His entrepreneurial acumen has earned the group numerous accolades, including recognition in Forbes Asia’s "Best Under a Billion", Outlook Business’ list of "Fastest-growing Companies", and Business World’s ranking of “Most Valuable CEOs”. He is also passionately involved in various social initiatives through the Sanjeev Mansotra Foundation. Andaleeb Sehgal is Head of Oil & Gas with over 30 years in the international energy value chain. He began his career working with Russia’s leading oil companies. He later founded Spice Energy, spearheading a refinery project in Haldia, India, launching an oil services division in Iraq and Syria, and establishing a trading alliance with Masefield AG. A standout achievement was managing the lifting of 30 million barrels of crude oil
Ed Willett is a seasoned exploration geoscientist with over 40 years of global experience. A Geology graduate from Cardiff University, he began his career at Carless Exploration Ltd, contributing to seismic operations and UK onshore asset evaluations.
At Cairn Energy, he spent 17 years in senior roles including Group Exploration & Sub-Surface Manager and Head of Exploration for Bangladesh and Nepal, driving major discoveries and shaping company-wide technical practices. As Exploration Director at Bowleven (2007–2016), he led the transformation of underperforming assets, drilling nine successful wells offshore Cameroon that added 350 mmboe at low finding costs, and guided the company’s entry into Kenya and Zambia. Since 2017, Ed has worked as an independent consultant, providing peer reviews, technical audits and strategic exploration advisory. He was appointed as Technical Advisor to Staatsolie between 2019 and 2024 before joining PlanetOne in 2025.
JS Anand, is a seasoned leader in the oil and gas sector with over 37 years of E&P experience across India, Nigeria, Jordan, Egypt, Australia, Chad, and Bangladesh. He has held pivotal roles, including Co-Founder and CEO of EnSearch Petroleum, CEO of Jubilant Energy, Asset Development Manager, General Manager of the Rajasthan Asset, and Deputy Head of Assets – West at Cairn Energy, as well as Drilling Engineer and Rig Manager for offshore and onshore projects at Hitech Drilling, a Tata-Sedco Forex JV. Renowned for driving key projects like the Rajasthan Asset development, he brings exceptional expertise in integrated project management, cost optimization, and strategic leadership. His proven ability to raise capital and deliver impactful solutions has been instrumental in advancing global energy initiatives.
Manish Begrajka is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and strategic advisor with over 20 years of global experience across energy, infrastructure, finance, and real estate. With a strong track record in renewable energy, fund management, and large-scale project development, he has led ventures across India, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the GCC.
As Sponsor and Investment Manager of Signature Vardan Wealth Partners and Co-Founder of Sunways Group UK, he has driven strategic investments and developed over 350 MW of renewable energy assets. His expertise in capital structuring, operational execution, and cross-border partnerships strengthens Planet One Oil & Gas’ vision for sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Kofi Nkum Eghan-Ekuban is a seasoned geoscientist with over a decade of leadership in oil and gas exploration and asset management. He holds a First Class B.Sc. and an MPhil in Geology from the University of Ghana and began his career as a Geophysicist/Geoscientist at Schlumberger Information Solutions.
At the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and its exploratory arm EXPLORCO, he progressed to Asset Head for multiple deepwater and onshore blocks, including Deepwater Cape Three Points West, Ghana WB03, and the Voltaian Basin assets, leading subsurface interpretation, prospect generation, reservoir model audits and a major basin evolution study. An advanced user of Petrel, Techlog and Petromod, Kofi combines deep technical command with strategic oversight to drive exploration growth in mature and frontier basins.
Mr. M. P. Pant is a highly accomplished drilling professional with over 42 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, spanning onshore, offshore, and deepwater operations across India, the Middle East, and Africa. He began his career as a Drilling Engineer with Oil India Limited in 1983, with specialized expertise in HPHT wells, well engineering, and well control.
He has since held key operational and leadership positions with Schlumberger, Shell (Petroleum Development Oman), Cairn Energy, Enron Oil & Gas, Essar Oil, and EnQuest PetroSolutions, advancing from rig management to senior leadership of large-scale, multi-rig projects. As Director – Drilling Operations at EnQuest PetroSolutions, he has managed more than 20 onshore, offshore, and deepwater projects covering well planning, engineering design, and contract management.
During his tenure with Shell's Petroleum Development Oman he supervised demanding wells in high-pressure, high-temperature, and H2S conditions, and has supported exploration and development across the Cambay, Rajasthan, Cauvery, and Krishna-Godavari Basins. Recognized for his technical depth and operational leadership, he consistently delivers projects safely, efficiently, and within budget.
